Illustrations by Yukiko Noritake
At first, I saw the illustrations for the Louis Vuitton guidebook to Paris and decided to find out who the illustrator was. I found her – Yukiko Noritake.
Japanese-born Yukiko Noritake fell in love with Paris (who could blame her, right?) while studying art at École de Condé. The city, as well as the people roaming its streets, are some of her main subjects. Her stunning creations feature nature as an inherent component of the city, and her creative use of perspectives gives her art a unique and enchanting quality. Yukiko launched her illustration career with her first book, Voyage au Pays des Odeurs, and since then has been working on a variety of artistic projects while honing her style. She designs all of her work with acrylic paint on various types of paper.
She has both her own personal illustrations and works for various clients, including Louis Vuitton, Airbnb, ELLE Japan, ELLE France, and Piaget. For Piaget, Yukiko created several magnificent projects – the winter window displays of the boutique in Paris, illustrations for Chinese New Year 2024, summer 2024, and more.
