Swatch has released its ‘Year of the Dragon’ collection specifically for the Lunar New Year, which will begin on February 10. Inspired by street lighting and neon shades characteristic of many Asian cities, the collection comprises five colorful watches created based on various distinctive Swatch models. Each model is adorned with a dragon profile on the dial.
The DRAGON IN MOTION watches come in a 43mm stainless steel case coated in a golden hue. The radiant case encloses a red sunray dial featuring a fierce dragon profile. In contrast, the DRAGON IN CLOUD model creates a lighter mood with a semi-transparent design. Housed in an attractive 47mm BIG BOLD case, the silver dial sharply contrasts with its semi-transparent bezel and strap, serving as a canvas for the roaring dragon.
Meanwhile, the DRAGON IN GOLD model boasts an entirely golden appearance from case to dial to strap. Matching the specifications of the SKIN IRONY watches, this version stands out with elegant and slender proportions, featuring a case diameter of only 38mm. As for the DRAGON IN WIND PAY! model, it is presented in the classic silhouette of the NEW GENT with a 41mm case. Immersed in an all-black canvas, touches of red, yellow, gray, gold, and white accentuate the deep hue, depicting a fiery and fearsome dragon. Completing the collection is the DRAGON IN WAVES, a dark blue reference with neon graphics and a compact 34mm-wide case.
Prices range from $85 to $220 USD, and the collection is available for purchase online and in Swatch stores.
