Innocence Canada has helped exonerate 21 people who spent a combined 130 years in prison for crimes they didn’t commit. To bring the human side of wrongful conviction to the organization’s logo, we brought these 21 people to the brand’s forefront. Each brush stroke in the logo was created by the exoneree it represents. The resulting tally marks, iconic of time behind bars, now represent freedom. The logo will continue to grow with every exoneration.
In France, addictions account for one in five deaths. In this context, Addict Aide was established to raise awareness of the issue. Together with BETC, it created louise.delage – a fake Instagram account of a seemingly carefree woman. Using growth hacking techniques, she gained 110,000 followers over a few weeks before the truth was revealed. In that time, eagle-eyed followers would have picked up on the fact that in every post, Louise is pictured with alcohol.
