A’ Design Awards & Competition 2020 – Winners
A’Design Award & Competition, the world’s largest and most diffused international design awards, every year announce the list of top designs. Best products, projects and services worldwide that demonstrate superior design, technology and creativity are rewarded with the A’ Design Award, the symbol of excellence in design and innovation.
The 2019-2020 edition featured 2087 Winners from 107 countries in 104 different design disciplines and this is just some of the numbers of the A’ Design Award & Competition.
Every year all entries are carefully evaluated by an internationally influential jury panel, that counts more than 200 experts, selected from among the top professionals in the industry worldwide, who devoted great care and attention to details while voting each entry.
PRIZES AND BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATION
Laureates are invited to attend the glamorous gala-night and award ceremony in Italy where they would be called to stage to collect their trophies, award certificates and yearbooks. Winner are also provided exclusive space to take part in the “best designs of the year” exhibition to showcase their works in Italy.
Laureates are also entitled to receive the “A’ Design Prize”, a highly coveted and comprehensive winners’ kit given to A’ Design Award & Competition medalists to help dissemination of their news to further and wider international audiences. In addition to the trophy, certificate and book, the A’ Design Prize includes PR and marketing services such as translation of award winning works to dozens of languages, press release preparation and distribution, lifetime license to use “award winner” logo, public relations campaign for winners and communication of awarded works to thousands of media members.
The judges are made up of esteemed members of the press, experienced academics and design industry leaders, and all on-board must have had a difficult task awarding this year’s many entrants. Spanning five categories—Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and A’Design Award (as well as a Runner’s Up A’Design Award) — over 12,000 designs were recognised, each one taking away one of the aforementioned honours, and now set to receive a host of benefits including a 3D-printed trophy; extensive PR opportunities; a place in the award’s annual hardcover yearbook of best designs; global recognition from peers; and that coveted invitation to the annual Gala event.
