The Knob 1 low-profile keyboard

knob 1 low-profile keyboard

The Knob 1, crafted by Ben Fryc, a Michigan-based creative director, 3D artist, and motion designer, epitomizes a sleek, low-profile mechanical keyboard. Inspired by renowned companies such as Apple, Braun, and Teenage Engineering, Ben amalgamated both classic and contemporary technological elements to fashion an exquisite keyboard that seamlessly merges aesthetic allure with practical functionality.

Characterized by a metallic casing, bespoke keycaps, low-profile Gateron switches, and two rotary knobs facilitating volume adjustment, scrolling, and zooming functions, the Knob 1 also integrates a USB-C port for rapid charging. Additionally, it boasts a petite 100 x 310px vertical display. Anticipation surrounds the potential customization options for this compact display and whether it will support touch functionality.

Ben is diligently working to materialize the Knob 1, and from April 4, 2024 the keyboard will be available for pre-order. Stay informed about its development progress by registering here for regular updates.
